Oleksiy Zayets was appointed Chief Financial Officer in September 2018. Before his current position he was a CFO of TIS, the stevedoring operator of the TLS group of terminals. Prior to that, for 10 years he held different positions in the major Ukrainian private energy company DTEK, including the role of Deputy CFO at PJSC DTEK Dniproenergo and CFO of DTEK Skhidenergo LLC (heat generating company), eventually becoming CFO at PJSC Naftogazvydobuvannya, an asset of DTEK.
He graduated from Donetsk State Academy of Management with a Master’s degree in Management. He also studied at Donetsk National Technical University, majoring in heat and power engineering, and attended the MBA programme of Kyiv-Mohyla Business School and the energy company DTEK. He has a certificate of Certified Accounting Practitioner (CAP).
