Alexey Pertin was appointed Non-Executive Director in April 2011. He is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PJSC Smart Holding, having previously been Chief Executive Officer of PJSC Smart Holding. Alexey is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Metinvest BV and Chairman of the Strategy and Investment Committee of Metinvest BV.
Before joining the Smart Holding Group as Strategy and Corporate Development Director in 2007, Alexey held various managerial positions at JSC Severstal-Group, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Business Development, and Chief Executive Officer for CJSC Izhora Pipe Plant.
He graduated from Cherepovets State University and Saint Petersburg State Technical University with qualifications in financial management, and he also holds an MBA from Newcastle Business School, UK.
